Overview
Must have Valid driver’s license
The shop mechanic is responsible for repairing, and the maintenance of
various construction equipment and heavy trucks. While doing so in a safe
effect manner.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance
Perform service work on vehicles
Diagnosing electrical issues on trucks and equipment
Practice workplace safety
Complies and follows Health & Safety policies and programs
All other duties as assigned
Skills
Welding is an asset
Knowledge of running heavy equipment an asset
Experience with routine maintenance operations
Ability to work independently in a busy environment
Able to effectively Communicate
Able to work well under pressure
Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
