Job Description
Legends Soccer Academy is seeking passionate and enthusiastic soccer coaches to join our team! We’re dedicated to providing fun, engaging, and skill-building experiences for young athletes across Ontario. If you love soccer, are good at working with kids, and are seeking summer employment, we want to hear from you!
About Us:
We travel across Southern Ontario, bringing week-long soccer camps to local communities. We aim to foster a positive and inclusive environment where kids can develop their soccer skills, make new friends, and have a blast. With a healthy mix of drills and games, our program spans from grassroots to skill development, and even freestyle soccer.
As a Legends Counsellor/Coach, you will:
• Lead and supervise groups of children aged 6-13 years old in daily soccer activities and games
• Create session plans for various skill levels, depending on your group’s ability. Drill banks will be provided
• Foster a fun, safe, and supportive environment for all participants
• Ensure the well-being and safety of campers
• Demonstrate and teach fundamental soccer skills
• Organize and participate in camp games, drills, and activities
• Work collaboratively with other camp staff
• Act as a role model for your players
• Provide positive feedback and encouragement to campers
• Fill out a written review card for each camper before camp ends on Friday afternoon
Camp Dates:
Week 1: July 13-17, 2026
Week 2: August 17-21, 2026
Compensation:
We’re offering 2-week contracts at $650/week

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Recent valid Vulnerable Sector Check
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience and confidence playing soccer
• Experience working with children
• Experience coaching (preferred but not necessary)
• You must complete the online components of the Ontario Soccer Coaching Course: Learn to Train. The in-person portion will be conducted during training. We will guide you through this process as a part of your training
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively on a team
• Enthusiastic, encouraging and patient demeanor
• Reliable and punctual
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
