Duties
Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, including burritos, bowls, and other menu offerings
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order accuracy
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Uphold restaurant policies on food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Job Requirements
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds as needed
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
