Responsibilities:

• Protect workers by keeping work space free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches
• Regularly required to talk, hear and use hands to perform duties
• Stand and hold a stop paddle for long periods of time
• Assist with the setup and tearing down of the signs, delineation or equipment and traffic control procedures and other related duties as required
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, good attitude, CSA certified steel toed boots
• A Valid Driver’s License; own reliable transportation to get to worksites
• Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt
• Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management
• Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
