Our services include excavating, civil construction, aggregates, float services, rock breakers, landscaping, snow removal, and sand, gravel and topsoil.

We are currently recruiting for a Sewer & Water Pipe Layer. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. overtime and weekend availability is possible.

Responsibilities include:

  • Install sewer and water pipes for construction projects on grade and for concrete structures
  • Prepare trenches, check grades and align pipes using a pipe laser
  • Cut and prepare pipes and fititngs
  • Assist with locating utilities
  • Ensure pipe is being placed properly and communicate with the foreman and site crew to ensure accuracy
  • Perform related construction duties
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications
  • Experience in watermain and sewer pipe installations
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills to work with the construction site team
  • Able to lift 50lbs and comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of safety practices appropriate for the job site
  • Safety training certificates such as First Aid-CPR, WHMIS, etc. are assets
  • An understanding of grades and elevation
