McCrea Excavating Ltd. is a family-owned business that has been serving Eastern Ontario for multiple decades. All our services and equipment are backed by the reputation of high quality, personable and reliable services. Our services include excavating, civil construction, aggregates, float services, rock breakers, landscaping, snow removal, and sand, gravel and topsoil.

We are currently recruiting for AZ-DZ Drivers. These are full-time positions working Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

The AZ-DZ Driver will be driving a triaxle, live bottom, float, hook lift or tilt and load truck. The Driver is responsible for the safe operation of our trucks by ensuring proper load securement, and performs daily inspections of the truck, noting any maintenance or repair issues and complete any required paperwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials to various construction sites
  • Comply with all rules and procedures for safe vehicle operation
  • Bring any issues of mechanical or equipment malfunctions or concerns to the company’s attention
  • Maintain appropriate logs for the truck
  • Perform regular maintenance of the truck including adding oil, fuel and washer fluid
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Valid AZ-DZ driver’s license
  • A clean driver’s abstract and CVOR; please note resumes will not be accepted without these requirements
  • Willing to work overtime as required
  • Safety conscious at all times
  • Punctual, reliable, team player
  • Able to operate both a manual and automatic transmission truck
  • Willing to travel

Assets:

  • Experience working in and knowledge of the concrete and construction industry
  • Experience driving a triaxle dump truck and using a dump trailer
  • Safety-focused attitude with additional safety certifications
  • Live bottom experience
