Valley Transportation is now hiring school bus drivers in the Deep River, Chalk River, Petawawa, Pembroke, Westmeath, Beachburg, Cobden, Douglas, Eganville, Barry’s Bay and surrounding areas!

Our drivers enjoy:
– Regular, part-time split shift hours from Monday to Friday, Morning and Afternoons
– Ability to bring your children to work
– FREE in-house training & licence upgrading (to a B licence)
– 187 working days per year – never work a weekend, evening or holiday again!

– Extra hours of work may be available but are not mandatory.
Job Requirements
To qualify you must:
– Be dependable, caring, and committed to the safety of your riders
– Be able to communicate clearly in English for Safety and Training purposes
– Be a team player, able to work well with the public and children
– Hold a full G-class Ontario driver’s licence with at least two years of driving experience as a licensed driver (current G2 holders will not qualify for the upgrading process, must carry a full G licence)
– Be able to pass a criminal background check & vulnerable sector screening
– Be able to pass a Ministry of Transportation medical screening
– Be available Monday to Friday for split shifts, hours roughly 6:30am-9am and again from 2pm to 5pm
