Efficiency First Insulation and Contracting provides above-standard, quality services for residential and commercial building renovations as well as new build projects. We provide the necessary insulation needs by way of spray foam, blown-in fiberglass and cellulose, fiberglass batting, vapor retardants, insulation removal, and more. We pride ourselves in personal service, superior products, and exceptional customer service. We have been in operation since 2018.

 

We are currently recruiting for a Painter. This is a full-time, year-round position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can deliver clean, professional results in residential homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other surfaces for painting
  • Patch, sand, caulk, and repair minor imperfections
  • Apply primers, paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
  • Protect flooring, furniture, fixtures, and finished surfaces during work
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Complete projects efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and other members of the crew
  • Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements
Qualifications
  • Previous residential painting experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in occupied homes
  • Experience with drywall repairs, caulking, and surface preparation is an asset
