building renovations as well as new build projects. We provide the necessary insulation needs by way of spray foam, blown-in fiberglass and cellulose, fiberglass batting, vapor retardants, insulation removal, and more. We are currently recruiting for a Residential Construction Labourer. This is a full-time, year-round position. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and being part of a hardworking residential construction crew.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist carpenters, installers, painters, and other trades with residential construction projects
  • Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
  • Assist with demolition, renovations, and job site preparation
  • Assist with installation and removal of insulation and other building materials
  • Perform general cleanup and maintain a safe, organized job site
  • Assist with basic carpentry and construction tasks as directed
  • Use basic hand and power tools safely
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople
  • Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when working in occupied homes
  • Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements
Qualifications
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving materials and equipment
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous construction or renovation experience is an asset
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a clean job site
